There are many sub-species showing some wide variations in the pattern of white, black and grey. This sub-species
is M. a. alboides which has a lot of black on the head and neck, a black back and a large white wing panel. Compare the birds shown on my European page. There are recordings on xeno-canto Asia and on xeno-canto Europe as well as additional information on Avibase. |
