Taczanowski's Ground-tyrant, Cruz Conga, Cajamarca, Peru, October 2018 - click for larger image It is a drab greyish brown ground-tyrant without a crown patch but with a supercilium reaching past the eye. Forages for insects on the ground so it is unusual to see this species perched on a utility wire.
