Brazil October 2022 The Yellow-browed Tyrant is distributed from central Brazil south to central Argentina with a disjunct and resident population in Venezuela. The main population is migratory moving north during the austral winter. See the distribution map at xeno-canto. |

It is found at the forest edge, in pasture and scrub where it often perches in the open and is usually single. It
feeds mainly by sallying to vegetation to catch its prey.
It seems to be unusually silent to the extent that there are very few recordings of its voice which is similar to that of Vermilion Flycatcher. |
