Brazil November 2008 The Dusky-legged Guan is distributed in south-east Brazil from Espírito Santo southwards and into adjacent areas of Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay. There is a disjunct population from central Bolivia to north-west Argentina. |

| It is found in forest,
woodland and secondary growth and sometimes forages in scrubland
and agricultural areas. It feeds on fruits and seeds mainly in trees but sometimes on the ground. It is the only Penelope with dark legs. Note also the pale supercilium which is more noticeable in the sub-species shown here, P.o. bronzina . |
