Abra Patricia, Amazonas, Peru October 2018 The Chestnut Antpitta is endemic to Peru where it is found in humid montane forest on the eastern slopes of the Andes at between 1,700 and 2,500 metres. See the distribution map at Birdlife International. Because of its limited distribution it is classified as Near Threatened. |
