Coto Doñana, Spain May 2000 This is the only spoonbill to be found regularly in Europe. The adults have a black bill with yellow tip, a bushy crest, visible in the second photo, and a yellow collar during the breeding season. The juveniles have a dull yellow bill and black tips to the primaries. |

They are found in southern Spain, Holland and occassionally in southern England as well as central Europe to
China, India and Africa.
