Bhutan The Rufous-capped Babbler is distributed from eastern Nepal to central and eastern China, Taiwan and south into Indochina. It is found in forest, bamboo stands and sceondary growth - very similar habitats to Golden Babbler S. chrysaea. |

It is relatively unmarked with olive upperparts, yellow-buff underparts and a rufous crown. There are recordings on xeno-canto and additional information is available via Avibase . |
