The Large-billed Crow is distributed throughout most of eastern and southern Asia. It is found in woodland and in open habitats often near human habitation.

Large-billed Crow, Pele La, Wangdue Phodrang, Bhutan, March 2008 - click for larger image It is mainly dark bluish-black in colour but its most distinguishing features are its large bill with arched culmen and its domed head which make it look like a small Raven C. corax .
