Lake Awassa, Ethiopia The White-browed Robin-chat is distributed in much of Africa south of the Sahara. See the distribution map at Birdlife International. It is found in woodland edge, undergrowth and thickets up to 1,800 metres in Ethiopia. This pair were duetting in the woods bordering Lake Awassa. |

It looks very similar to Ruppell's Robin-chat C. semirufa but the white supercilium is wider and the tail is rufous-orange with no black. | |||
