Simbo Resort, Ethiopia The Rufous-necked Wryneck is patchily distributed in Africa south of the Sahara. See the distribution map at Birdlife International. It is found in open woodland and forest edges where it feeds mainly on ants which it gleans from dead branches or on the ground. |
