near Yabello, Ethiopia The Red-fronted Tinkerbird, a small member of the Barbet family, is distributed in Africa from Eritrea and Ethiopia to Tanzania with a disjunct population from southern Mozambique to eastern South Africa. See the distribution map at Birdlife International. It is found in dry bush and woodland up to 2,500 metres. |
