Jemma River, Ethiopia The Cinnamon-breasted Bunting is distributed from the south-west of the Arabian Peninsula through eastern Africa to south Africa. See the distribution map at Birdlife International. They are found in rocky areas with a few trees or bushes up to 2,800 metres. |

They have a black throat and are rich cinnamon below.
They forage on the ground mainly for grass seeds but also the occasional insect.
