Ghana and Ethiopia

Bruce's Green-pigeon is distributed in a band south of the Sahara and north of the Equator from Senegal in West Africa to Somalia in east Africa and across the Red Sea into the south-west of the Arabian Peninsula. See the distribution map at Birdlife International. It is found in wooded valleys, wooded savanna and thorn scrub where it feeds on fruits mainly in the canopy.
