Tono Dam, Ghana The Bronze-tailed Starling is distributed in Africa in a band south of the Sahara from Senegal to western Kenya. It is found in wooded savanna where it forages on the ground for fruits and insects. |

It is similar in looks to the Greater Blue-eared Starling L. chalybaeus but has a shorter tail which is mainly purple in colour and can look bronzy from certain angles as in photo 2. | |||
