Kakum National Park, Ghana The West African Pied Hornbill has been split from Congo Pied Hornbill L. fasciatus by the HBW and Birdlife International Checklist. It is distributed in tropical West Africa from Senegal in West Africa to Nigeria in the east. It is found in forested or wooded habitats where it feeds mainly on insects and fruit. |
