White-throated Kingbird (Tyrannus albogularis) | ||||
Brazil The White-throated Kingbird resembles the Tropical Kingbird (Tyrannus melancholicus) but has a much paler head which emphasises the black mask. The throat is much whiter. |

It is usually found near water at forest edges. Its breeding range is the Guianas, eastern Amazonia, central Brazil and adjacent Bolivia but it migrates during May to August into western Amazonia. There are illustrations in Hilty & Brown, Plate 39; and Ridgely & Greenfield, Plate 74. |
