Sani Lodge, Sucumbios, Ecuador November 2019 The White-eared Jacamar is distributed in western Amazonia in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and adjacent areas in Brazil. See the distribution map at xeno-canto. It is found near lakes and in várzea seasonally flooded forest up to about 400 metres. |

It is a distinctive Jacamar with its white ear coverts and a pinkish bill. Its voice is also distinctive and unlike other jacamars. | |||
