| Carajás, Pará, Brazil February 2002 The Eastern Striolated Puffbird is found from the Belém area to southern Amazonia, Mato Grosso and into Bolivia. See the distribution map at xeno-canto. It seems to prefer forest edges. |

| The upperparts are brown and it has a chestnut crown. Underparts are creamy-yellow with dark stripes. The tail is barred brown and cream and the bill is pale with a darkish tip. | ||||
