Brazil The Rufous-breasted Hermit is distributed from Panama through Colombia and Venezuela to the Amazon Basin and into eastern Brazil. It is found in a wide variety of forest and forest edge situations and in thickets in more open habitats. |

has a decurved bill, dark green upperparts and brownish-rufous underparts.
The tail feathers are rufous with a broad black sub-terminal band and
