Amazonia National Park, Pará, Brazil September 2000 The male Rose-breasted Chat is unmistakable with its red underparts and white throat and flanks. This bird is in a typical horizontal perching position with fanned out black tail. |

It is found in the Amazon and Orinoco Basins at mid-levels in the forest and normally close to a stream or river. There are illustrations in Ridgely & Tudor, Volume 1, Plate 9 and in Sick, Plate 40. |
