See the distribution map at NatureServe. It is found in the canopy and borders of montane forest mainly from 700 to 1,600 metres. |

It is
rufous on the crown, face, wings and tail. Otherwise it is dull brown with a whitish throat.
The song is high-pitched and chattering. |
