Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil The Red-crested Cardinal is distributed in Bolivia, Paraguay, southern and south-western Brazil, Uruguay and northern and central Argentina. See the distribution map at xeno-canto. It is found in semi-open areas with scattered shrubs or trees and is frequently seen near water. |
