Rio de Janeiro, Brazil November 2008 The Red-breasted Toucan is distributed in south-central and south-eastern Brazil, eastern Paraguay and northern Argentina. |

| It is found in the Atlantic
Rain Forest as well as in surrounding secondary growth and
grassland with trees in the Pantanal. The bill is green to green-yellow and upperparts are black except for the rump. The chin and breast are whitish-yellow with an orange centre while the lower breast, belly and vent are dark red. |
