Cuero y Salado, Honduras March 2015 The Lesser Nighthawk is distributed from south-west USA through Central America to tropical South America below about 1,200 metres. See the distribution map at Birdlife International. It is found in open country including desert, grassland and agricultural land as well as beaches and, as in this case, mangroves. |
