Brazil The Glossy Antshrike is a Brazilian endemic. The male Glossy Antshrike is all black except for white on the wings and the tip of the tail. It has a black bushy crest while the female looks very similar except for having a brown crest which contrasts rather attractively with the black as can be seen in photos 3 and 4. They are found in the Amazon Basin by the sides of rivers and in várzea forest. |
