| Barra do Guaraí, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil August 2004 The Field Flicker is distributed in eastern Argentina, Uruguay, southern Paraguay and southern Brazil, specifically Rio Grande do Sul state. It is generally regarded as a sub-species of Campo Flicker C. campestris and is distinguished from the nominate sub-species by the whitish chin and throat which makes the malar stripe more pronounced. |
