Mareeba, Queensland, Australia November 2010 The Yellow Honeyeater is found only in the north-east of Queensland including the York Peninsula. It is found in forest and woodland particularly near watercourses and in orchards and gardens. |

It is a yellowish-green honeyeater with a yellowish eyebrow and facial stripe and a darkish line through the
eye.
It feeds on nectar, fruit and insects and is often seen in acrobatic positions as it feeds. |
