Mallacoota, Victoria, Australia April 2006 The Olive-backed Oriole is distributed in north, east and south-east Australia as well as Papua New Guinea. It is found in rainforest, eucalypt woodland, tall scrub and gardens. |

It has a reddish bill and a red eye. It is olive-green above with greyish wings and tail and creamy underparts
with black streaks.
It feeds mainly on native fruits but can be a pest in orchards. |
