Kakadu, Northern Territory, Australia October 2013 The Little Kingfisher is distributed in Papua New Guinea and nearby islands and into northern and north-eastern Australia. See the distribution map at Birdlife International. It is found in mangroves, swamps, creeks and streams in woodland and forest. |
