Deniliquin, NSW, Australia March 2006 The Eastern Rosella is distributed in south-east Australia and Tasmania. It is found in open forest and woodland as well as gardens and orchards. It seems to be attracted to banksias and River Red Gums Eucalyptus camaldulensis in particular. |

It feeds on the seeds, berries and buds of a variety of trees, bushes and grasses as well as being a pest in orchards. | |||
