Andalucia, Spain May 2022 The Woodlark is distributed in most of Europe and in surrounding areas of the Middle East and North Africa. See the distribution map at xeno-canto. It is found mainly in open forest and woodland areas it often perches in the open but spends most of its time on the ground. |

It has a short tail with white tips and a broad whitish supercilium reaching well behind the eye. The song is very attractive. | ||||
