||||
Morocco The Rufous-tailed Scrub-robin breeds from north Africa and southern Spain eastwards to Afghanistan and Pakistan and in Africa south of the Sahara. The northern populations migrate to West and East Africa south of the Sahara. See the distribution map at Birdlife International. In Morocco they are normally found in bushy vegetation along rivers and on scrub-covered slopes. |

They spend a lot of the time on the ground with the tail cocked and fanned before slowly lowering it.
The song is thrush-like but high pitched and chirping. |
