(aka Common Partridge)
The Grey Partridge is found in the temperate zone of Eurasia from Ireland to Central Asia.
It is mainly terrestrial but, when flushed, will fly and glide short distances. It prefers grassland and arable farmland where it feeds on seeds and insects.
