Pele La, Wangdue Phodrang, Bhutan The Yellow-browed Tit is distributed along the Himalayas from Kashmir to northern Myanmar and patchily through southern and eastern China and Indochina. |

It is found in various types of montane forest mainly at between 2,000 and 3,600 metres. It looks a bit like a Phylloscopus leaf-warbler or a Regulus kinglet but is in fact a tit though it is the only member of the genus Sylviparus . |

It has a short, stubby bill and dark grey legs. It has olive-green upperparts and shows a smallish crest. There
is a thin yellowish eye-ring and the wings feathers are brown with olive-yellow edging. Underparts are dull olive-yellow. There are recordings on xeno-canto and additional information is available via Avibase. |
