Bhutan

The Yellow-billed Blue Magpie is distributed along the Himalayas and into northern Myanmar and north-western Indochina.

It is found in a variety of forest types at between 1,800 and 3,400 metres.

It has a yellow bill and a black head with a white crescent on the back of the neck. Upperparts are blue-grey while underparts are whitish with a yellow tinge especially on the wings. The tail is very long with white tips to the central feathers and white tips with a black bar on the other tail feathers.
