Deothang, Samdrup Jongkhar, Bhutan April 2008 The White-breasted Kingfisher is distributed in Turkey and Egypt and from central Iraq through to eastern China and south into Indonesia. |

It is found in a wide variety of habitats but is more common below 2,000 metres. | ||||
Upperparts are mainly turquoise while the head and most of the underparts are brown. The throat and centre of the
breast are white. There are recordings on xeno-canto and additional information on Avibase . |
