The Common Myna is a native of southern Asia including Bhutan but has been introduced to many other parts of the world such as Australia largely because of its ability to mimic. It is a member of the starling family.

It is usually found near human habitation. It is brownish with yellow bare skin behind the eye, a white wing patch and a white tip to the tail.
