It is found in the dense understorey of gallery forest and forest edges but
is scarce in primary forest. It is also found in more open areas such as farm bush. It feeds mainly
on insects such as grasshoppers and caterpillars.
It is olive-green above and grey below with yellow undertail coverts. The tail is short and the bill is long and black with a pale tip. It has bright yellow ear-coverts and supercilium with a dark line through the eyes and lores. The song is a curious double or triple nasal note. |
