Madagascar The White-throated Rail is endemic to Madagascar and Aldabra. See the distribution map at Birdlife International. The Aldabran subspecies is flightless but the Madagascar subspecies can fly. It is found in a variety of habitats linked to water up to 1,800 metres. |
