There are 11 sub-species as well as several intergrades. This makes for a variety of plumages. In photo 1 we have a male of the nominate species while in photo 2 there is a male of the sub-species M. f. feldegg or Black-headed Wagtail. Photo 3 shows a female probably nominate. | |||
