Ghana The Lesser Striped Swallow is distributed in Africa south of the Sahara except in the south-west. There is a distribution map at Birdlife International. |

It is found in grassland, woodland and forest edges and near human
habitation.
It has a rufous rump and a rufous head. The underparts are heavily streaked and the tail has long outer feathers and small white windows. |
