Negele to Yabello Road, Ethiopia The Golden-breasted Starling is distributed from the Horn of Africa to north-eastern Tanzania. See the distribution map at Birdlife International. It is found in dry bush and savanna in semi-arid areas up to 1,200 metres. It has a very long graduated tail, is yellow in the breast and belly and has a white eye. The immature is duller with head breast and mantle olive-brown. |
