Lake Hora, Ethiopia The Abyssinian White-eye is distributed in the Horn of Africa, mainly in Eritrea and Ethiopia and in the south and west of the Arabian Peninsula. See the distribution map at Birdlife International. It is found in a variety of woodland and scrub habitats mainly below 1,800 metres. The HBW and Birdlife International Illustrated Checklist has split this species from Kenya White-eye Z. flavilateralis which has yellow underparts. |
