The Flower Crab Spider is distributed in much of Europe and North America. In Britain it is found mainly in the south. It is frequently found on yellow or white flowers.

The much larger female (seen here) can change its colour between yellow and white to blend in with the colour of the flower on which it is sitting waiting for its prey. The mechanism whereby it changes colour is described in Wikipedia.
