These are the moths that emerge from Horse-chestnut leaves that have been discoloured with brown patches caused by the larvae of this moth. As part of a project carried out by Conker Tree Science, I had collected some infected leaves and kept them for a couple of weeks to see what would emerge. I got quite a few of these moths but only one of the parasitic wasps that it is hoped will eventually control the spread of this moth.
