Monks Eleigh, Suffolk, England January 2008 The False Widow Spider is a non-native species but has spread to Britain where it is fairly common in England. It comes from western and central Europe. Related to true Widow Spiders they can give a bite which can be quite sore. For more information see the pages at britishspiders.org and at the Natural History Museum. |
