The White-lored Euphonia is distributed in the Amazon Basin, along the eastern foothills of the Andes and into the Guianas. See the distribution map at xeno-canto. It is found in the canopy and borders of humid forest up to about 1,000 metres.

White-lored Euphonia, Sani Lodge, Sucumbios, Ecuador, November 2019 - click for larger image As its name implies, a distinguishing feature is the white lores found in both sexes. These photos are of a female showing the grey underparts with a yellow crissum. The male is all yellow below.
