The Streaked Tit-Spinetail is distributed in the Andes of Peru and northern Chile.
It is found in pre-cordillera shrubby habitat between about 3,000 and 4,000 metres.

It is strongly streaked on the head and back and has greyish underparts with faint streaks. The tail is long and graduated with a forked appearance. | |||
