Brazil The Sooty-fronted Spinetail is distributed from eastern Brazil to Bolivia and northern Argentina. It is found in a wide variety of forest and woodland edge habitats as well as arid, scrubby areas. |

has a rufous crown with dusky forecrown, a rufous tail and rufous on the
wings. Otherwise upperparts are olive-brown. The throat is white bordered
