Colombian name: Cucarachero Pechirrufo

The Rufous-breasted Wren is distributed in Costa Rica, Panama, northern Colombia and northern Venezuela. See the distribution map at NatureServe. It is found low down in woodland and forest borders at up to 1,900 metres.
